Pet Rock and Chicken Little

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to the Pet Rock festival. Mommy was having some issues trying to explain what exactly the Pet Rock festival was, so she's gone to the website and is going to cut and paste the mission statement of the festival.
"The mission of the Pet Rock Festival is to provide a venue where animal welfare organizations of all kinds (from those that fight to prevent cruelty in the courts to shelters to rescues to rehabilitation programs) can gather to fuse an even tighter network, and to also get the word out about their programs to the public.
By placing these organizations in a bed of family style entertainment that includes live music and attractions, we hope to reach a wider range of people to get them caring about animals. We promote kindness to animals – a focus that reaches to areas that include the appropriate adoption of shelter pets, spaying and neutering, educating children that animals are living creatures that feel pain, etc."
There was TONS of puppies, and older doggies everywhere. All different sorts of breeds that I've never seen before. Mommy took a whole bunch of pictures of me, walking with daddy and even of some with some new friends.
Me and a little 4 month old Pug named "Toby".He's a little bit smaller than me, but BOY is he a livewire!
A Massive Newfie who was hanging out near the water park. It was really warm, so this pooch was extremely hot and was panting alot. Mommy got a few pictures, but this one was the best!
This poodle was all excited to be dressed up, complete with backpack, polo shirt, and baseball cap!
This pug was being carried around, and his brother (below) was being driven around in a cart. They were part of the Pug Rescue of New England (PRoNE) family.
(he doesn't look very happy about being dressed up in a tux!)
Look at how big this Great Dane is!!!! I'm the size of his head!
Me and a new friend, a Chinese Crested, which had to wear a shirt, because she could have gotten a sunburn.
Daddy put me in the Puppy pool, so I could cool off. We're going to have to get one of these for me next summer! We then went over to the food area, where Daddy stood in line waiting for food, while Mommy took me by the Celebrity Tent where Melissa McGee and Kevin Covais from American Idol were. Mommy thinks Daddy looks like Kevin Covais, but Everyone thinks Mommy is crazy! Here's some of the photos she took of him.

We then went over to sit down while we waited for Daddy and the Mozerella Sticks (there was no meat of any kind allowed at PetRock). Melissa McGee and Kevin Covais performed on the stage, so we sat and watched. There were a bunch of puppies sitting near us so I got to say "HI"

(one of the puppies at the Festival licked the Camera Lens, Sorry Melissa!)

This is how I felt at the end of the day.... TIRED!

Thanks Mommy and Daddy for a Fun-filled Day! I can't wait for Pugapalooza in a few weeks!
