Happy New Year!!!

Hi There!!!

It's been a few months, and I've been busy with Mommy and Daddy and the baby, Landon. Mommy says he's growing like a weed, but I've just noticed him getting bigger! He's not out in the yard, so he can't be a weed!

Life sure has changed, I have to share time with the baby, and I'm not allowed to bark at the wind, the mailman, anyone who comes to the door, the birds out the window.... Mommy and Daddy say it's because I will wake Landon. I don't think I'll wake him up, he doesn't sleep as much as I do! My new favorite thing is to snuggle R E A L L Y close to Mommy and Daddy, they say that they have no more room on the couch when I snuggle with them. I think we can both share one of the cushions, is that so wrong? Anyway, Mommy's going to post some pictures from the past few months! Hope you like them!!

I'm A Big Brother!!

It's been so long since Mommy has posted anything, partially because she spent this entire time being pregnant with my new brother, Landon.

This is a picture of him RIGHT when he was born!

Mommy was in the hospital for 5 days and I didn't know where she was and it scared me. When she finally came home, she brought Landon with her. While she was gone to the hospital, Daddy brought me his baby hat to sniff, and took me for walks and out to go potty. It was a big change to have a little brother to watch after. Here's a picture of Landon, Daddy and I his second day home! Don't I look soo happy? Doesn't Daddy look so happy too!? He was very tired!




I like having a little brother around, because when the weather isn't too icky, I get to go for walks with Mommy and Landon - although Landon gets to be carried, and I don't - I wish I did, but then I wouldn't be able to sniff all the plants!

Being a big brother has me on my toes, I check on him when he's asleep:

and snuggle when Daddy and Landon nap!



Being a big brother is hard work! But I love it... and Landon too!

Missing in Action!

Mommy is SO sorry that she's slacked off for over a year and hasn't had any new posts and photos! A TON has happened in the past year!

We Moved....

Thats right! Mommy and Daddy bought a house! We moved here last November, and this house is partially why Mommy hasn't posted. But I LOVE the new house, ya wanna know why?

BECAUSE....

I HAVE MY OWN ROOM!

This is a really messy picture, but you get the idea. Its clean now and I don't have as many toys in there. I have a really cool back yard, where I get to run around, there are woods to go through and explore and I am so so Happy here!

I also had some health issues going on, in December I had a seizure, which was no fun at all. I scared Mommy and Daddy really bad, but luckily I haven't had one since. But then in June and July, my tooshiebum sploded again. twice. So we've been focusing on my extremely high fiber diet. I hope mommy posts more frequently so that we can get back into the swing of things! So until then.....

Tooshiebum Problems

So.. I've got some Tooshiebum problems. Mommy noticed the area next to my toosh kinda puffy. She thought that I got stung by a bee! If only it was that simple! Instead, I had an impacted tooshiegland. Which means, one of the little glands next to my bum got infected and basically exploded. When Mommy woke up on Friday, she went to check my bum and noticed that it had erupted. It was so painful! She was very worried and wiped my bum with a tissue and it was all icky. She went to work but left early because Daddy had to sleep because he had to work that night.

She took me to a veterinarian's office and they knew exactly what happened. They were very nice, and I didn't really even bark! They weighed me and brought me into an examination room with Mommy, I was so scared! I hurt a bunch and had the smell of other doggies in the room! We had a Vet Assistant come in and talked to Mommy about what happened to me. Then the Vet came in. She was very nice and very sweet to me! She told Mommy all about what had happened and told her that I needed medicine. Mommy told the Vet that I kept trying to check out my booboo, because I don't have thumbs and can't hold a mirror very well. So the Vet gave my Mom what she calls my satellite dish, yep I got a cone! I DON'T LIKE THE CONE at ALL. But I had to wear it, at least until Mommy came up with something else for me to wear so I don't check out my booboo.


We came home just in time to see Daddy get ready for work. He laughed at my cone! I didn't like wearing it, but I had to. So, after Daddy went to work, Mommy went to the store and bought me little boy underwear, but it was way too big! She cut a hole out of the tooshie part of the undies and poked my tail through. Unfortunately because they were stretchy, the hole got big and didn't really cover my booboo. Mommy made the huge mistake of trying to put me in my bedroom with my cone on. What on earth was she thinking?!?! It was sooo uncomfortable! So Daddy took another pair of underwear and cut a hole in them that was so big I could have put my head through it!!! He went to bed then Mommy woke up and saw the hole Daddy cut in the undies for my tail... giggled then went to the store to get smaller undies. She went to Petco to see if they had doggie diapers, but they were ex-pen-sive!!! So Mommy went to Wallyworld and bought some fluffy fabric and a new set of smaller undies... which fit better but were still big. We woke Daddy up and I played with him for a little while, then he went to work and Mommy decided to make me her own pair of doggie diapers just for me. After sewing for quite a while, this is what she ended up making!





They aren't exactly comfy but they cover my booboo very well, and I don't have to wear my cone!!

Happy almost 4th of July!

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to Mount Washington!

We drove all the way from our house in Massachusetts, it was such a long ride, but sitting in the back seat for over two hours was so difficult! I wanted to sit in the front seat and drive, but Mommy and Daddy said no, because my feet couldn't reach the pedals.

These pictures are about half way up the mountain. We stopped so we could look at the views.


Mommy is really afraid of heights and she was hyperventilating while daddy was driving up the mountain. I can understand why, because there were cars coming down the road, almost on our side! There was a point where she started hyperventilating, I felt badly for her but Daddy wasn't going to let anything happen to us, especially since he was driving Mommy's car!

They Say It's Your Birthday.....

And today IS my Birthday!

Mommy and Daddy took me to Petco and I got some really good Dog Food!

And I got a new squeaky toy... I have so many toy's Mommy and Daddy had a hard time trying to find me a gift...
and Mommy also insisted on purchasing me a pair of PANTS... What on earth is a pug like me going to do with a pair of PANTS?

I think i look stupid, but Mommy says I'm a handsome little devil.

Then Mommy made me some cookies... they are the most delicious cookies I've ever had!



SO.. Mommy made me a cake out of a cookie, a Frosty Paws Ice Cream, and a boatload of peanutbutter.... while Daddy's at work... complete with Candles and everything!



I wasn't too fond of the fire on the candles ... so I stayed back far... I didn't want to get burned. I'm a smart cookie!


Mommy had to blow out the candles for me, and then I started eating it...




Twenty Minutes later.....

The frostypaws is all gone, and The peanutbutter is covering the cookie, I'll go back for that after... I CANT WAIT to eat that!


I gotta go lay down because I'm so full.. and I'm so happy that my birthday was a fun one!
